Dignity Kids began in 1987 with a small group of martial artists who donated their time teaching women's self defense to victims of crime and teaching bully prevention to children in the Tempe School District. Gradually over 20+ year history the voluteer group grew to 38 people servicing 15 school districts and the demand for bully prevention courses grew even faster. In 2008, Dignity Kids officially became an Arizona non-profit organization providing not only educational services, but added an annual clothing drive, toy swap and kids fitness camps.
